Autodesk und Denise Schindler haben auf der Hannover Messe Bundeskanzlerin Angela Merkel und US-Präsident Barack Obama das Wettkampfmodell einer innovativen Prothese präsentiert. Die Prothese zeigt, welches Potenzial moderne Design- und Produktionsmethoden in der Medizintechnik haben. Sie wurde mittels eines Scan-Verfahrens, Computersimulation und additiver Fertigung (3D-Druck) hergestellt.
