Project Play emerged from our experience with the Smithsonian X3d and is a free* technology preview that enables you to make amazingly rich interactive 3D presentations on the web — without programming. It's an in-browser node-based editor, requires no download, and renders your work in real-time. You can combine 3D models, vector drawings, images, text files, videos, audio, and APIs that stream live from the web (i.e., Google Maps, Twitter, etc.). In Play, you can combine all these media types to create interactive experiences for mobile, desktop, and Virtual Reality.

By joining the project, you have the ability to access the technology preview, post your feedback in the discussion forum, and stay up to date with the latest developments concerning the technology preview. I acknowledge that in exchange for my use of the application, I agree to provide Autodesk with feedback in accordance with the Autodesk Labs Terms of Use and agree to other terms and conditions therein. The technology preview is available worldwide, subject to applicable legal and regulatory restrictions. The End User License Agreement (Autodesk Pre-release Products Agreement) for this technology preview is available in English. As part of the install process, you will be required to accept and agree to be bound by the terms of the End User License Agreement accompanying the software. Please print and keep a copy of the End User License Agreement for your records.
