Markus Köchl - born in 1967 in Munich, re-joined Autodesk end of 2012. He is well known in the Autodesk reseller and customer community from his previous engagement (1999 to 2007). For some years he also gained experiences in implementation, customization and automation of CAD and PDM solutions products of Dassault SolidWorks.
In his current role as Solutions Engineer PDM he covers the area of Autodesk Vault and all its interfaces. He assists Autodesk resellers, prospects and customers to analyze and optimize workflow and practical approaches to manage engineering data.
He graduated a mechanical education, studied mechanical engineering and science of work, worked as CAM machinist and designed tooling equipment for several years. In the last role before diving into the CAD world he managed a manufacturing branch and helped to establish an ERP system.
Markus lives with his family very close to the Bavarian alps.
